Sealoch is a traditional croft cottage converted to a luxury holiday home for 2 people. It is totally private and located on its own terrace overlooking the magnificent Loch Odhairn on the Isle of Lewis.
From the cottage you can see down the length of the loch to the open sea and the mainland beyond. Porpoise, otters, golden eagles and sea eagles are among many regular visitors.
Sealoch cottage is situated in the beautiful and wild Lochs district of south-east Lewis (not far from the border with the Isle of Harris). The village of Gravir (Grabhair in Gaelic) is about 27 miles from Stornoway and is a traditional old fishing community straddling the sea loch.
The terrain around the cottage is wild and majestic, ideal for hill walking, bird watching, fishing or getting away from it all - you might simply prefer to relax on the terrace, watch the weather change and the fishing boats go past, or to unwind in the sauna.
The cottage is ideally situated for exploring both Harris and Lewis, with Tarbert about 30 miles drive to the south, and the Callanish standing stones about 30 miles to the north. There are a variety of historic sites to visit, in addition to the magnificent scenery of the Outer Hebrides.
SeaLoch Cottage was completely restructured and refurbished to a high standard in 2011 when a conservatory was added on the terrace.

David's cottage had everything we needed for a great week chilling out, and was ideally situated for exploring both Lewis and Harris by car. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped in a peaceful setting with a wonderful view over the sea loch. The sauna was a nice bonus too. David was very friendly and easy to contact throughout our stay. (Deborah, USA)
Great getaway from the world, with superb views, comfortable surrounds and all the peace and quiet you could wish for. (Jen, England)
Beautiful view! Nice sitting area to look out, paint, etc. lovely comfy sofa and armchairs for an afternoon snooze! (Susan, Australia)
Fab place, serene location, helpful host that accommodated my very late arrival, all the mod cons plus a sauna and a conservatory overlooking stunning views! (Rachel, UK)
It is hard to describe the beauty of this location, especially from the sunroom that overlooks the loch. We were fortunate to have beautiful blue skies every day, which meant we spent our mornings drinking a warm beverages while enjoying the view from the sunroom, our days exploring Lewis, and our evenings sharing a glass of wine while once again watching they sky darken from the comfort of the conservatory. The entire experience in Lewis was amazing, and it was so nice to have a comfortable place to return to each evening. When we arrived we had a bottle of Merlot waiting for us, a warm, clean home, and clean linens... all as expected. (John, USA)
